Wilderness Ceramics Retreat
in Voyageurs National Park

Join us for a three day, two night artistic camping adventure. Boreal Explorations Eco Adventures and
artist Lorene McIntosh are getting back to nature with
the ancient art of pottery and pit firing on beautiful
Rainy Lake.

We are excited to work with our hands while letting our imaginations travel back to a time and place where art
and community merged with the natural landscape. Clay is the stuff of legends, ingenuity, art and human beings. Come with us and give your hands the opportunity to create and your hearts the time to rejoice in nature. No ceramics experience necessary.

Artist Lorene McIntosh will provide ceramics instruction, cultural and historical perspective, and pit fire techniques. BEEA provides luxury campsite set-up, gourmet outdoor meals and transportation. Adventurers have the option of kayaking to the site or catching a ride via powerboat. Interpretive ecological day trips offered for those interested.
